Short + Sweet 2009 @ KLPAC

Short+Sweet is the biggest short play festival in the world. First produced at the Newtown Theatre in Sydney, Australia in 2002, the Festival arrived in Malaysia in 2008!

The Festival made its debut in one of the most prestigious theatre establishment in the country, The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre –KLPAC in August 2008.

The Festival is a hub for creative Malaysians to showcase their talents in a highly creative, collaborative and professional environment.

This innovative and fresh theatre festival features ten-minute plays that showcase the best of Malaysia’s established and emerging writers, directors and actors.

hort+Sweet 2009 will feature 10 minute plays in English, Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin. Short-listed plays not selected for the top 20 will also receive a staged-reading. The Gala Final Week will conclude the festival.

So get your thinking caps on. The more imaginative your reasons, the better!

Alexa Live In KL!

Alexa,new name for us in Malaysia but they are quite known in Indonesia..they gave a very energetic performance on that night at Zouk KL..thanks to Popo from Warner Music for the invitation and to Izuan from Gua.com,i hope u like the picture that i send..

Mungkin belum meletup tetapi kumpulan Alexa mempertaruhkan satu keunikan yang cuba mengasingkan mereka daripada jenama-jenama pop ringan lain yang sedia ada.

Dengan berbekalkan sebuah nama yang diambil daripada mitos Yunani bermaksud “pembela lelaki”, Alexa membawa penampilan rock moden yang selamat didekati. Lima teruna ini yang dibesarkan dengan muzik alternatif 90-an seperti membawa satu ilusi penting yang jarang diambil peduli majoriti nama-nama baru yang mahu sensasi semata-mata.

Tiba di Kuala Lumpur untuk mini tour mempromosikan album sulung mereka, ‘Alexa’, kumpulan yang anggotanya berusia dalam lingkungan 20-an itu nampak bersahaja dan tidak goyah mengejar glamor dan penerimaan di sini.

Populariti awal yang dinikmati di sini atas kekuatan “Jangan Kau Lepas”, lagu ‘single’ mereka yang tak putus-putus berkumandang di radio carta perdana tanahair. Kadar populariti itu pasti melonjak naik selepas ditayangkan pula klip video (hitam putih, sedikit artistik dan kemas, moden serta berbajet besar) untuk lagu tersebut dan juga lagu pembayangnya, “Jangan Pernah Pergi” di sini tidak lama lagi.

Lydias Diery for my on going project!

Lydia’s Diery was being named during 2004. The band name was being inspired by a diary owned by a mysterious girl named Lydia. It was the moment when 2 of the band members hang out in cafeteria and suddenly found the diary.They read the diary, and thus, via the SADNESS story of Lydia’s life, they’ve being inspired to create songs based on the life of Lydia.
